Battlefield:1942 (2002)

Battlefield Heroes (2009)

This game is the first one to belong to the series EA Play 4 free. The Battlers players can download and play this game for free. Nevertheless, certain contents of the game require microtransactions. 

In the Battlefield series, it is the first game to render a third-person shooter view. As compared to the games of all Battlefield games in order, this one has unique graphics. They look similar to that of Fortnight.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (2010)

There is also an expansion of this game named: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. It is set up in the Vietnam War. The character classes are the same in this expansion. Nevertheless, the gadgets, weapons, and vehicles are different.

Battlefield 3 (2011)

Battlefield 3 is one of the most interesting games of the Battlefield series. The features of this game include military combat with a large scale of vehicles and military jets. In the multiplayer campaign, Battlefield 3 has the ability to support around 64 players. There is also a single-player campaign in the game with some co-op missions. 

The game includes Frostbite 2.0 engine and some better features such as lighting elements and destructions. These all features make the game more interesting, life-like, and interactive. 

Battlefield 4 (2013)

The vast vehicular battle continues in this edition of the Battlefield series. It is one of the most engaging and interactive editions of all Battlefield games in the series. There are some new and old features in the game.

Battlefield: Hardline (2015)

Hardline was not developed by EA like all battlefield games. Rather, it was developed by Visceral Games. The game does not follow the military approach, but it focuses on the Police and Robber approach. 

In the single-player mode, the players can arrest the robbers. It was the only primary feature that was added to the game. The game also includes multiplayer-mode like Hotwire, Blood Money, and Heist. 

However, the military concept is missing in the game. It is just a spin-off, which is not even closer to Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4.
