Destiny 2: How to Find the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst (and What it Does)
Vex Mythoclast Catalyst – In Destiny 2, you can make your Vex Mythoclast weapon even better by using the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst. But getting it is a bit tricky. You must stand on special plates in the Vault of Glass raid and break some magical Oracles.
How can one find the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst Fusion Rifle?
The Vex Mythoclast Catalyst is an Exotic Fusion Rifle that can be obtained by completing the Vault of Glass raid in Destiny 2. It is a random drop, so there is no guaranteed way. However, you can increase your chances of getting it by completing the raid on Master difficulty.
To complete the Vault of Glass raid, you must assemble a team of six players. You can find a team by using the Destiny 2 LFG (Looking for Group) tool. Once you have a team, you can start the raid by going to the Tower and talking to the Vault of Glass icon on the map.
The Vault of Glass is a challenging raid, so it is important to be prepared. You should have a good understanding of the raid’s mechanics and be familiar with the weapons and armour you will need. You should also make sure that you have a high Power level.
Glass Plate Vault #1
Vault of Glass Plate #1 is the first encounter in the Vault of Glass raid in Destiny 2. It is a synchronization plate encounter, meaning players must stand on the plates to activate them and prevent the Vex from taking control.
This encounter has three plates: one on the left, one in front of the door, and one on the right. The best way to handle this encounter is to split your team into three teams of two. Each team will take one plate and defend it from the Vex.
The Vex will spawn in waves and try to take control of the plates. The plate will be deactivated if they are successful, and you must start over.
Glass Plate Vault #2
The second plate in the Vault of Glass raid in Destiny 2 is on the right side of the arena, up on a higher platform. To activate the plate, two players need to stand on it until the white wall around it is built.
Praetorians will spawn (with some backup Vex) to try and reclaim the plates. Players must defeat the Praetorians before they touch the plates, or the plate will be deactivated. If all three plates are activated and held for a certain time, a central spire will form, and the Vault of Glass will open.
Glass Plate Vault #3
Vault of Glass Plate #3 is located on the right side of the Waking Ruins area. It is a raised platform with a circular symbol in the centre. You must stand inside the circle to activate the plate and keep it clear of enemies.
Once the plate is activated, Vex enemies will spawn in waves and attempt to recapture it. You must defend the plate until the spire in the middle of the area is fully constructed.
Glass Plate Vault #4
Close to the Gorgon’s Labyrinth, check out the big gap. Stick to the right side, and you’ll see some stepping stones going down to a ledge where the fourth plate is. Be careful; one wrong step and you’ll fall and die.
The rocky ground here makes it harder to see and break the Oracles than the earlier plates. So, it’s a good idea to go up a nearby high spot to find the six Oracles more easily.
Glass Plate Vault #5
Go a bit further into the same gap where you found the 4th plate. Look for a big pillar near a Vex Portal that’s not working. You’ll find the fifth plate there.
The good news is that when you activate this plate, you’ll see all the Oracles pretty clearly because the area is wide open. However, there would be 7 Oracles, which is the most compared to the other plates. Aim carefully and shoot them all to finish this part and get the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst.
How to Upgrade the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst?
To make the Vex Mythoclast even better with the Catalyst upgrade, you must defeat 700 enemies using this gun. Because it shoots fast, you can reach this kill goal pretty quickly.
What Happens After the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst Upgrade?
When you upgrade the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst, it becomes a Masterwork weapon. This means it gets better stats, and when you kill enemies with it, they drop special Orbs of Power. To make these orbs drop, you must use your Masterwork weapon to get multiple kills simultaneously.
The Catalyst upgrade also gives the Vex Mythoclast a new ability called “Calculated Balance.” This makes the gun more stable and increases as you collect more Overcharge stacks.
How do I find the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst?
You can find the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst by completing a hidden raid puzzle in the Glass raid Vault. The puzzle involves standing on five different plates and shooting all of the Oracles that spawn in sequence.
